Russia: August beer production increases as compared to the same month last year

Russia’s beer production dropped by 19.4% in August as compared to July this year, Rosstat data showed on September 16.

Compared to August 2019, however, beer output was 9% higher last month.

The nation’s January-August beer production totalled 55.9 mln hl, the statistics agency reported.

The first-half volume increased by 0.9% this year to 39.7 mln hl.
